- Born and raised in Austin, TX; Graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in May 2010 with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering; Taught secondary math, physics, and English as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Maputi village, Mtwara region, Tanzania from Sept 2010 to Nov 2012; Currently extending my PC service for a third year in Tanzania, working as a Field Monitor for the UN World Food Programme in Dodoma until Dec 2013
